Where we are

Vigo di Fassa is an internationally renown tourist resort, famous for the majestic landscape and for being the point of departure for unforgettable alpine climbs in the Dolomites.

Surrounded by green fields, flourishing woods and the towering cliffs that made the history of international mountaineering, it is a summer and winter tourist resort with super modern lifts, challenging ski slopes for any level of difficulty guaranteed by artificial snow-making equipment.

The Catinaccio-Ciampedie cableway departs right next to Hotel Vigo (25 mt.) and in a few minutes takes you up to 2,000 metres of altitude.

BY CAR:

From Autostrada del Brennero you can choose:

  • EGNA- ORA Exit then proceed to SS48 street in Dolomiti direction Cavalese : Passo San Lugano – Val di Fiemme – Val di Fassa (distance is km 45).
  • BOLZANO NORD Exit than proceed to SS241m Grande Strada delle Dolomiti – Passo Costalunga – Val di Fassa (distance is km 37). If you choose this street, you’ll arrive directly to Vigo di Fassa.

From Autostrada A27 Mestre-Belluno:

  • Pian di Vedoia Exit, follow direction for Belluno. Take attention to the signs for Agordino and Falcade; when you take SS203, you’ll have to pass the Passo San Pellegrino to arrive in Val di Fassa – Moena.Other street to our hotel are SS48 (Passo Pordoi), SS242 (Passo Sella) and SP641 (Passo Fedaia) till Canazei.

The quickest and easiest way to reach the Val di Fassa is by taxi. For further info about this transport option contact the associated taxi companies, partners of the Val di Fassa Tourist Board, which operate with regular licence.

It is an observation point and the starting point for many excursions or hikes to the Catinaccio range, from which, in winter, you can ski down the Ski Area slopes right to the very entrance of the hotel.
